Camera

The i.MX RT1170 processor includes a MIPI CSI-2 camera interface. Support for the OV5640 camera module was added in the BSP-Zephyr-RT1170-PD26.1.0 release.

• OV5640 Camera Module with Raspberry Pi connections

Usage

Connect the OV5640 camera module to connector X27 on the phyBOARD-Atlas RT1170 carrier board.

Build the firmware with the csi_capture.conf configuration and both the display and camera shields enabled:

sh-host:~$ west build -p auto -b phyboard_atlas/mimxrt1176/cm7 zephyr-phytec-application/app/rt1170 -- -DEXTRA_CONF_FILE="shell.conf debug.conf csi_capture.conf" -DSHIELD="rk055hdmipi4ma0;phytec_ov5640"

Flash the resulting firmware as described in the Flashing with JTAG guide.
