Audio

The i.MX RT1170 processor includes five SAI (Synchronous Audio Interface) controllers, of which sai1 is enabled in the current BSP-Zephyr-RT1170-PD26.1.0 release. It connects to an onboard audio codec on the phyBOARD-Atlas RT1170 carrier board, controlled over the lpi2c5 I2C bus at address 0x18.

Usage

The pre-built BSP-Zephyr-RT1170-PD26.1.0 sample application includes the audio_selcall module, which runs automatically at boot and drives the onboard audio codec over sai1.
